Cardiff City take on Reading at The Cardiff City Stadium in the Championship Play Off Semi Final 2nd leg, both teams wanting to win after a nervy 0-0 result in the 1st leg.
Cardiff have got to the Championship play offs after finishing 4th in the table on 80 points. They challenged the whole way through for one of the automatic promotion spots but after some poor end of season form they lost out to Norwich and also slipped to 4th behind Swansea. They will be looking to take advantage of being at home for the first leg a place where they collected 49 points during the league season.
Reading have reached the play off semi finals ater finishing 5th in the league on 77 points. They jumped into the play offs after good end of season form meaning they jumped from outside the play offs most of the season into 5th at the end of season. Finishing 5 points ahead of 7th placed Leeds. They will be disappointed to not be taking an advantage into this game after being at home for the first and will have to produce a result away from home wehre they have collected 34 points in the league season.
Cardiff will have to provide a late fitness test for Craig Bellamy after he had be taken off early in the 1st leg. They are also waiting on the fitness of Tom Heaton who was only named on the bench for the 1st leg because of injury and Paul Quinn after he had to be taken off late on in the 1st leg.
Reading will have Jimmy Kebe back for the tie after he has missed the last 5 games with a thigh strain. Hal Robson-Kanu is carrying a knock and may be out but Mikele Leigertwood will fit after recovering in time for the 1st leg.
This fixture finished 2-2 in the league season after an equaliser by Craig Bellamy for Cardiff 7 minutes into injury time.
The winner will have right to face Swansea City at Wembley for a place in the Premier League next season.
